Sheldon was so passionate about our garden we soon began discussing what else he could help with. The moment we saw one of his designs we knew we needed him to design a garden for us. We have 1/4 of an acre of hilly terrain with crumbling walkways, an old garage blocking half the garden, the main road at the front from which we wanted shelter, a desire to better handle the water that runs onto and down the land and a superb view which we wanted to exploit. Oh yes, and we wanted low maintenance! Sheldon listened precisely to our often rambling views of what we thought we wanted, He also spent many hours in the garden getting the feel of it. The result is an amazing plan to work to adjusted from the initial draft and agreed with us. We couldn’t fault Sheldon and just can’t wait to be able to afford to put his plan into reality.

‘After a recent trip to Japan, as-we became fascinated by its beauty and tranquility. We wished to echo some of this culture into our own garden and have a relaxing area away from the stresses of everyday life. However, we did not want to eliminate our country English garden completely, it was about finding a balance. Sheldon listened to our requirements and went through holiday pictures with us for inspiration, he delivered a design far from our expectations. He found the balance and created not only an area inspired by our travels but a space that transported us back to Asia.’
